To further deepen cooperation between the United Kingdom and Japan in next-generation advanced connectivity technologies, we are pleased to host the Second UK–Japan Workshop, following the first exchange event held in December 2025.
At the previous workshop, researchers and industry experts from both countries gathered to discuss potential future joint research themes and promote researcher matching, with a focus on NTN, AI for Telecom / Digital Networks, and Optical Networks.
This second workshop aims to build on that foundation. Experts from both nations will convene once again to further advance discussions toward research collaboration and social implementation, while accelerating cooperation among academia, industry, and government.
We warmly welcome participants interested in cutting-edge research that will support the ICT of the future, as well as those seeking opportunities for joint research or business development between the UK and Japan.
